Just my opinion, dial in on test only, find your ground. If you worry about ball size, you can use HCG and dial in after this. The reason is, when you dial in with test only, you gonna know what blood numbers make you feel good, the ratio of test, e2, dht, all that shit. My hcg was around 715 when I was diagnosed as ectopic. Around week 3, my doctor almost suggested a 2nd shot because it was going down real slow.

We are assuming it is a miscarriage/CP but it seems odd the HCG only went down by 1 and didn't have any more drastic changes either way.Jul 31, 2018 · Along with:-Beta hCG levels usually double about every 2 days for the first four weeks of pregnancy.-As pregnancy progresses the doubling time becomes longer. By 6 to 7 weeks beta hCG levels may take as long as 3 1/2 days to double. I didn't have any blood tests done in my case. All I had was a 7 weeks echo after some bright red bleeding. The second blood was taken today (so 72 hours later) and is 1919 at 5 weeks 5 days; so it hasn't doubled as we'd have hoped.
